We have a team!

4 years ago we formed a team for one of our first clients – co-living pioneer The Collective.

The journey is now over & the team is ready & available to take on new challenges!

At HackSoft, we take pride in the work we do.

Back when HackSoft was a very small company of 4 people, we started working with one of our first clients – co-living pioneer – The Collective.

4 years ago, we formed a team of 2, that, over time, grew up to 6 people.

For the past 4 years, the team has been building mission critical internal systems & tools that are in use every single day.

In June, the team will complete its journey. An end of an era for us.

The team is proficient with Python, Django, JavaScript, React and supporting Heroku and AWS infrastructure.

During our time with The Collective, we figured out the idea for the Django Styleguide.

Alongside the tech expertise, the team is also very active in product discussions & asking the right questions.

The team

The team consists of 6 full-stack developers with the following structure:

  • 1x team lead / senior developer
  • 1x senior developer
  • 3x regular software developers
  • 1x junior developers

The team has great internal communication & cohesion.

It’s thanks to Kamen, the team lead, that we piloted the idea for rotating the lead on a regular basis, as described here.

Here are some testimonials from the folks at The Collective, that we’ve worked with:

“Working with HackSoft has been great for the last 4 years. Even though we are based in different countries, communication has always been very good. As a remote team, Hacksoft are very easy to work with. They are very diligent and professional, and have made a great impact on The Collective’s internal system development.”
